Crazy Calgary Weather

How did you like the weather in Calgary today morning? Crazy wasn’t it? It took one and a half hours for some people to get to work when it usually takes only 30 minutes.

around 10:30 a.m. and around 3 p.m. there was already no snow on the streets. It was like several seasons in one day.

Downtown 6-th Avenue Could Be Closed

Several Calgary’s news medias are talking about a decision made by the city transportation and utilities committee to close a portion of 6th Avenue in downtown Calgary.

The votes were 4 to 3 in favour of closure of the entire block between Centre Street and 1st Street S.E. It is not a final decision yet. The issue was sent to council for approval. However there is a big possibility that it is going to be approved. We will know for sure on Monday.

Calgary Flames 2-1 over Red Wings

The Calgary Flames won 2-1 over the Detroit Red Wings at the Pengrowth Saddledome. This is the first victory of the last four games. Yahooooo!
