This game was all about Miikka Kiprusoff. The Wild dominated throughout the entire game but couldn’t do anything with the Calgary goalee. Miikka stoped 38 shots on goal through regulation and overtime. Kiprusoff was also strong in the shootouts and stopped 2 pucks from Pavol Demitra and Brian Rolston.

Alex Tanguay and Jarome Iginla scored in the shootout for the Calgary Flames.

The Colorado Avalanche lost 3-0 to the Vancouver Canucks (Thanks Vancouver). Right now the Flames are seven points ahead of Colorado and have a good chance of keeping the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
