| Daymond Langkow put the Calgary Flames up 1-0 just 32 seconds into the first period. It was a very promising start for the Flames on Saturday March 17, 2007 at the Pengrowth Saddledome. However the Flames blew it away loosing 2:4 to the Minnesota Wild.
Calgary lost three straight games in regulation and five in the last six games. The Flames must start being concerned about getting into the playoffs. Take a look at the Standings ScreeShort taken from NHL – Yahoo. The Flames have 84 points and still holds the 8-th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, but they are only 4 points in front of Colorado. |
