Red Wings crashed the Calgary Flames in Detroit

Once again the Detroit Red Wings crashed the Calgary Flames in Detroit, this time 5:1. Regardless of the score, the Flames played much better than in the first and second quarterfinal game. They showed much more effort, but who cares the Calgary Flames lost and lost big.

There is no surprise that the Red Wings out shot the Flames 38-24. Miikka Kiprusoff made very good saves through traffic, however he could only stop 33 shots.

There were so many turnovers especially in the second period. The Flames allowed 2 short-handed goals. Jamie McLennan, who changed off Kiprusoff in the third period, had played only 18 seconds and received a game misconduct. Well, this game was ugly, really ugly.

Andrei Zyuzin scored the only goal for Calgary.
According to the game recap he said:

“It’s a long series. We have to believe we can win. There’s another game (Sunday). We got ourselves back into the series with two wins in a row at home and now we have to do it again.”

The series now shifts back to Calgary’s Pengrowth Saddledome and will be on Sunday April 22 at 7 p.m.

The Calgary Flames won all nine regular season and playoff games against the Red Wings at home. So let’s forget about this embarrassing loss and LETS LOOK AHEAD.

GO FLAMES GO!!!

who cares about hockey. it is for elitist corporate hacks

It is shameful in this society that Hockey players earn more than Oncologists or Neurosurgeons. For the cost of Flames Season Tickets, you could sustain an entire village in Africa for 5 years.

The game also encourages violence and the owners encourage alcohol abuse, drunk driving and property destruction.
