Museum Offers Calgarians Another View On Evolution

Darwinism, the science of evolution where only the fittest survive to continue the species, is being countered by a museum on Creationalism.

The Big Valley Creation Science Museum will officially open its door in June across from the Canadian Railway Hall of Fame. No religious objects, such as crosses, altars, Bibles, etc, decorate the professional exhibits. It’s all science based - just as Darwinism is science based.

“This is a scientific museum,” describes Harry Nibourg. “This is compelling evidence for a Creator. We’re not trying to force this on anybody. We want people to come take a look at it for themselves and make up their own minds.”

Nibourg is responsible for the museum. The exhibits are ones he has collected over the past four years.

“This is real evidence and it’s not in the mainstream at all.” Nibourg continues.

Vance Nelson, with degrees in biology and theology, serves on the museum’s board.

“I have no problem with survival of the fittest. But survival of the fittest does not explain the origin of the fittest.”

This museum contradicts popular and widely taught educational theories. Creationalism points out the gaps in the evolutionary lines and declares that intelligent design didn’t occur by accident.

As a result, the opponents to creationalism don’t acknowledge as scientific. The new museum simply offers another theory. Neither of the theories on the origins of life can be proven without a doubt.

Nibourg and Nelson offer a what if and open the possibilities to the public for others to ask. For a modest $5 entry fee, curiousity can be explored.
