Calgary Flames crashed the Minnesota Wild

The Calgary Flames crashed the Minnesota Wild 4:2 today. Second time in three days Flames beat Wild and both times in Minnesota. Calgary is really starting to play stronger and stronger. It is the fifth winning game in a row for the Flames.

Miikka Kiprusoff didn’t have much to do in this game. He stopped 23 shots and allowed 2 goals. The hero of the game Jarome Iginla had his first hat trick of the season.

Calgary Flames beat Minnesota Wild in Shootout

The Calgary Flames beat the Minnesota Wild in a shootout 1:0. It is the forth winning game in a row for Calgary and second straight, winning game on the road. Way to go Flames!!!

This game was all about Miikka Kiprusoff. The Wild dominated throughout the entire game but couldn’t do anything with the Calgary goalee. Miikka stoped 38 shots on goal through regulation and overtime. Kiprusoff was also strong in the shootouts and stopped 2 pucks from Pavol Demitra and Brian Rolston.

Calgary Flames 3 - Chicago Blackhawks 2

Calgary Flames won a third straight game, 3-2 over the Chicago Blackhawks, on March 25th, 2007. It was a very important win to start the Flames road trip.

Kristian Huselius scored the first goal at 2:01 into the first period. He beat Nikolai Khabibulin on the short side from the left face-off circle.

Radim Vrbata and Denis Arkhipov scored for Chicago in first period.

There were no goals in the second period, thanks to Kiprusoff and Khabibulin who made great saves.
