Huge Calgary Flames Victory over Predators

Ya, it was an exciting game and a huge victory. The Calgary Flames won 3-2 over the Nashville Predators Thursday at the Pengrowth Saddledome. This was the first Calgary victory over Nashville since Jan 22, 2004. GO FLALMES GO!!!

The hero of the game is Calgary defenseman Rhett Warrener who scored the 3rd and winning goal in overtime by deflecting the puck through the pads of goalie Chris Mason after a perfect pass from Alex Tanguay.

Calgary Flames 2-1 over Red Wings

The Calgary Flames won 2-1 over the Detroit Red Wings at the Pengrowth Saddledome. This is the first victory of the last four games. Yahooooo!

Calgary Flames lost 2 – 4 to Minnesota Wild

Daymond Langkow put the Calgary Flames up 1-0 just 32 seconds into the first period. It was a very promising start for the Flames on Saturday March 17, 2007 at the Pengrowth Saddledome. However the Flames blew it away loosing 2:4 to the Minnesota Wild.

Calgary lost three straight games in regulation and five in the last six games. The Flames must start being concerned about getting into the playoffs. Take a look at the Standings ScreeShort taken from NHL – Yahoo. The Flames have 84 points and still holds the 8-th and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, but they are only 4 points in front of Colorado.
