Bon Jovi Scheduled to Rock the Stampede

Jon Bon Jovi and crew will be rocking the Saddledome during this year’s Calgary Stampede on July 11.

Their latest chart topping single was Who Says You Can’t Go Home, a duet with Jennifer Nettles which climbed the U.S. country charts. The song recently won them their first Grammy; they were previously nominated for two other songs but didn’t win.

The group originates from New Jersey and began topping the charts with their hard rock musical blend back in the 1980s. They have sold over 120 million records worldwide.


Their next album, Lost Highway, is scheduled for release June 19.

The Cadavers Are Coming To Calgary

Talk about losing your appetite! The Bodies Human, a cadaver show would not qualify as pre-dinner or even first-date material, but is far more realistic than the current horror flick.

The show will display plasticized real corpses in a variety of poses and dissection. (Bring a spare bag just in case.)

The show will open in Calgary in 2008, at the Telus World of Science, brought to you by Texan Michael Churchman. His display is similar and inspired by a German developed one. Despite it’s grim sounding subject, Churchman expects the display to attract thousands. Read the rest of this article »
