Calgary Heat Wave
Sunday, July 15th, 2007Saturday was the hottest day Calgary has seen so far this year. I understand that the thermometer peaked at 30 degrees! But it seemed so much hotter to everyone, especially those who were walking around Stampede Park. The sun beamed off of the pavement making it feel like walking on the surface of the sun.
Calgary EMS, Stuart Brideaux said that the UV rays are the highest between 10 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. He said that this is the hottest part of the day. I am sure that everyone in Stampede Park can agree. (more…)
