Boys Dies After Emergency Room Delay
April 20th, 2007 posted by MamasaidAccording to the parents of an 18 year old boy, hold ups at the Calgary Rockyview hospital and misdiagnoses at a walk in clinic caused the death of their son last month from a ruptured appendix.
Wendy Baseotto said her son Jordan Johanson went to a walk in clinic that prescribed antibiotics because the boy had started to feel sick two days earlier. They antibiotics didn’t seem to help, so the next night Wendy took Jordan to the Rockyview emergency unit on a Saturday at 7:30 pm. Read the rest of this article »
