Have you changed your clock?

March 11th, 2007 posted by SkGold

Have you changed your clock one hour ahead yet? This year the clock change happened three weeks early. So don’t forget to change it, otherwise you will be late to work tomorrow morning.

Also don’t forget to change the clocks all over your house; in places such as the kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, microwaves, ovens, answering machines, computers, VCRs, DVDs and of couse in your cars. Believe me, it could lead to some confusions, if you forget to change the clock in one of these places.

For your computers you can use the Microsoft automatic Widows based patch. You may downlad it here.

CBC News is talking about the fact that time changes may affect your brain function and increase traffic accidents:

“Sleep experts, however, say many Canadians don’t get enough shut-eye already, and studies have shown the time change can affect how the brain functions the Monday after the clocks have changed.”

You may read the full story here.

So be cearfull and get a good sleep tonight.

The early time change happened because U.S. experts are thinking that it will save more energy and Canada just follows this lead.

Daylight savings time will also end one week later, on November 4th instead of October.
