Weather warning in Calgary again
April 9th, 2007 posted by SkGoldOnce again we have a Snowfall Warning in the Calgary area. It is raining right now, but expect to see wet snow tomorrow morning. From 10 to 15 centimeters of snow has been predicted for the next 24 hours.
Did you notice that the weather is playing some kind of game with us? All these crazy weather conditions are happening during the week and at the end we have pretty good weekends. I am actually okay with it, as long as the weekends are nice.
According to Environment Canada:
“A disturbance moving in from B.C. is currently bringing showers to much of western Alberta. As temperatures drop tonight this precipitation is expected to gradually change over to snow. Snowfall amounts between midnight and midday Tuesday are expected to be between 10 to 15 centimetres.”
“Tuesday - Snow. Amount 5 to 10 cm. High plus 1.
Wednesday - Cloudy. High plus 3.
Thursday - A mix of sun and cloud. Low minus 5. High 7.
Friday - Sunny. Low minus 4. High 10.”
So it should be a nice weekend and we can enjoy the weather.
